InfraCredit Signs MOU with BPE
InfraCredit Signs MOU with BPE: In July 2019, InfraCredit signs a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Nigeria Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). BPE is charged with driving the Federal Government of Nigeria’s programme of privatizing public enterprises, carrying out sector reforms and facilitating the liberalization of key sectors of the Nigerian economy; particularly the infrastructure sector, which aligns with InfraCredit’s mission to mobilize long term local currency private infrastructure financing in Nigeria. In furtherance of our mutual objectives, we have formalized interest in building a strategic alliance to facilitate collaboration on eligible infrastructure financing projects, capacity building, information, and data sharing. This is in line with InfraCredit’s strategy to develop a more collaborative and coordinated relationship with governments and its agencies towards creating an enabling environment that can unlock domestic credit to the private sector from local pensions funds and other long term investors.
