In August 2019, InfraCredit held the first regulator-focused Infrastructure training which convened up to five regulators in the project finance space – A two-day training titled “Structuring PPP and Infrastructure Finance for Regulators” was held in Abuja in August 2019. The training had 5 regulatory institutions in attendance including PenCom, SEC, BPE,ICRC and FSS2020 (the financial strategy arm of the CBN). This marked the first step to achieving the Capacity Building Programme’s strategic objective of bridging the knowledge gap of regulators with regards to Infrastructure finance projects to inform more favorable policies and regulations.
